The links at the left of this page provide information about collecting and preserving solifuges for research, list the institutions where the type specimens of solifuge species are housed, provide images of past researchers, and offer an overview of the Global Survey and Inventory of Solifuges, the NSF-funded project that triggered the development of this website.
Collection records of solifugae can be searched via https://ecdysis.org/index.php and via https://www.gbif.org/ (online data aggregators). Searching for a particular solifuge taxon via these sites will also provide distribution maps based primarily upon museum records but also including observational records.
